Ten Proven Ways to Boost Testosterone Naturally

Testosterone is a vital part of a man’s endocrine system. This hormone is directly responsible for the development of strong muscles and a healthy physique.

testosteroneHowever, age and various lifestyle habits can reduce the level of testosterone in the body, leading to a decline in physical strength and energy levels.

Today, we’re going to look at ten all-natural ways you can boost your testosterone levels.

10 Proven Ways to Boost Testosterone Naturally

#1: Increase Your Physical Activity

What’s amazing about testosterone is that it isn’t just a way for your body to help build muscle and increase energy. It is actually produced by performing these activities, to an extent.

As we work out, the body sends signals to the brain, indicating that physical activity is underway. This prompts the brain to kick in the endocrine system and produce the testosterone levels to support the newly increased physical exertion.

#2: Reduce Sugar and Other Carbohydrates

Carb reduction isn’t just for people following Atkins or South Beach diets. Carbohydrates are basically sugars, when all is said and done. The body handles sugar by production of insulin, which is known to inhibit testosterone production and overall testosterone levels. So cut down on the carbohydrates, or replace simple sugar carbohydrates with complex carbs that take the body longer to process.

#3: Be careful about Soy sources

Soy is an excellent source of protein in most cases, particularly for those looking to cut heavy meats from their diet. However, it also has the side effect of raising oestrogen in the male body. This contradicts the effort to produce testosterone levels, meaning soy sources should be used sparingly. If you’re still looking to cut out meats, consider alternative protein sources to soy as your replacement.

#4: Whey Protein is Great

As an alternative to soy, you may consider increasing your intake of Whey protein instead. Whey includes Branch Chain Amino Acids, or BCAA’s. Recent research suggests BCAAs have a potential link to protein synthesis, and other studies have linked it more directly to testosterone production during exercise. Whey therefore replaces a protein source and raises your BCAA levels in one go, making it a handy supplement to a diet.

#5: Don’t be Fat Paranoid

Your body needs a certain number of essential fats to maintain overall good health (hence the name). They are key in producing testosterone levels. However, excessive levels are still counter-indicated by FDA research. Discuss specific levels of essential fats, and good sources for them, with your doctor when designing your testosterone-raising dietary changes.

#6: Boost your Zinc Intake

Zinc has been linked to the formation of testosterone in a healthy, workout-oriented body. Reductions in zinc have been shown in studies to significantly inhibit the production of testosterone in as little as 20 weeks.

Zinc is very easy to include in the average diet, thankfully. Good food sources for zinc include most red meats, many kinds of poultry, and certain shellfish. Oysters are a particularly good source, if you’re a fan of seafood.

Alternatively, supplementation is possible. Zinc supplements are comparatively inexpensive, and it is included as a testosterone-boosting agent in many supplements aimed at raising male testosterone levels.

It should be noted, increasing zinc above the baseline for your body’s needs will not necessarily increase testosterone production. Rather, it is a lack of zinc that inhibits production. Evaluate your diet and consult with your physician to see if your zinc levels are at a proper value for you before beginning a supplementation regimen.

#7: Cut Down the Stress in your Life

Every single life and health coach out there will tell you about the negative impact of stress in your life, but did you know that it can impact your testosterone level as well?

The body produces cortisol as a response to stress. Cortisol has a direct, negative correlation with testosterone levels. Simply put, chronic stress-response cortisol will lower your testosterone level in the long term. Reduce the level of distress in your life and replace it with healthy workouts and rewarding activities to keep from losing testosterone.

#8: When in doubt, supplement

There are a number of relatively simple, reasonably affordable testosterone boosting supplements available on the market. These contain a variety of ingredients, such as the zinc we mentioned earlier, from all natural sources. Each has been shown through various studies to help support the body’s production of testosterone.

However, we will say again that you should consult your doctor before beginning a supplementation regimen. You might have an allergy, or a complication to taking certain supplements due to pre-existing medicine regimens your doctor may have you on. Nobody wants to risk that kind of medical complication, and while rare they can occasionally happen. Do the responsible thing and keep your physician in the loop.

If you wish to know more, here is an article about best testosterone boosters reviewed at the informational site Fitness Donkey.

#9: We said to get active: Strength Training is great for it!

As we mentioned before, physical activity is linked to increased testosterone production. One of the most efficient sources of increased testosterone is by working on your strength training regimen.

Strength training is very easy to get into, and doesn’t even require equipment to perform the most basic, muscle-building exercises. Squats, pushups, and situps are exercises that many people can do on their own, for example.

When you want to increase your commitment level and really boost that testosterone, you should get access to exercise equipment allowing for curls, lifts, and bench presses of various sorts. These will help you increase the level of muscle buildup, and result in a corresponding testosterone boost.

#10: Quit Smoking Already

In addition to other health problems, smoking can cause a long-term decrease in testosterone levels.

Many studies show that smoking, in the short term, boosts testosterone in acute ways. However, a chronic smoking habit can lead to an overall decrease in testosterone production. The longer you smoke, the greater the overall reduction in testosterone levels.

Further, we stressed how working-out and being active is the best way to naturally raise testosterone levels. Smoking reduces your level of energy overall and makes it hard to breathe. This makes it harder to keep up the energy and activity level that come with healthy workouts.

The specific relationship between smoking and testosterone has yet to be fully understood, but the fact is anyone who’s smoking really should quit and focus on living their healthiest, most active life possible.

You see, have you ever noticed how some men are big, muscular, lean, athletic, strong, have chiselled jawlines, and can grow a beautiful and majestic beard in just one full day, while others are the exact polar opposite?

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out which type of guy is the one with large amounts of testosterone flowing through his body.

The more testosterone we have, the more benefits we can enjoy.

This is why we have testosterone-boosting supplements, it’s why some bodybuilders choose to inject testosterone, and it is why we look for natural ways of increasing testosterone production.

Testosterone and Muscle Growth

Testosterone and Muscle Growth

Before we can look at the question of does working out increase testosterone, we first need to look at testosterone and muscle growth.

After all, there’s a reason why so many bodybuilders and athletes inject themselves with testosterone in order to look better and in order to perform better in the process.

Once in the system, testosterone is able to bind to receptors located on the surface of the cells of the muscles, and it basically greatly amplifies biomechanical signals in the tissue of the muscle that is responsible for protein synthesis.

Protein synthesis is a natural process where the body basically produces more muscle proteins to replace those damaged during training.

Obviously the more of these muscle proteins the body can produce naturally, the more muscle we can build.

Testosterone also helps increase growth hormone production, which is another hormone responsible for muscle growth.

As mentioned on the GainsMadness.com infographic, these are the many benefits of high testosterone in men.

Does Working Out Increase Testosterone?

Does Working Out Increase Testosterone?

Now it’s time to answer the question of does working out increase testosterone. Between the ages of 30 and 80, in men, testosterone levels drop.

From age 15 – 30 or so, testosterone levels gradually increase.

From 30 however, they begin to fall, and that’s a problem.

The hormone is responsible for muscle growth, size, strength, libido, energy, semen volume, and much more besides.

Therefore, increasing the amounts we produce naturally is surely beneficial?

Well, it is, but how do we do it?

Well, studies have found evidence, which strongly suggests that working out, can increase testosterone.

Studies have found that resistance training, especially when utilizing heavy compound movements and exercises, can increase the natural production of testosterone within the body.

A number of studies were conducted with regard to testosterone and working out with weights, and experts noted how heavy compound exercises which targeted multiple muscle groups at once, were far more beneficial for testosterone than isolation exercises.

They also found that, ideally, workouts should be kept to under one hour in length.

They noted that following exercise, testosterone levels spiked for around 15 – 60 minutes, before gradually dropping once again.

Despite dropping, over time with regular exercise, it was found that testosterone levels were slightly elevated, and remained elevated slightly, for an indefinite amount of time.

What About Endurance Exercise?

Endurance Exercise and testosterone

The reason why experts recommend keeping workouts to under 60 minutes in length, is because if we exercise for too long, our bodies produce and secrete a stress hormone called cortisol, which basically cancels out testosterone and renders it ineffective.

This is why it is best to keep workouts to under one hour, so as to keep cortisol levels under control. We’re not saying you shouldn’t perform endurance exercise because endurance exercise is very beneficial.

It’s just that, when it comes to testosterone, endurance exercise is not beneficial and can actually be detrimental, so just bear that in mind.

However, too much can lead to violent and dangerous side effects so make sure you take the right amount.

The Bottom Line

Ultimately, the right amount of testosterone can provide many health benefits and vastly improve your workout experience.

You start to produce far more testosterone when you reach puberty, which is when the development of male characteristics like a deeper voice, more muscle and more hair occur.

Testosterone levels start to decline at around the age of 30. This decline can cause some health issues as you get older, especially in those that don’t look after their testosterone levels.

Effects of low testosterone include low energy levels, a lack of motivation and an increased amount of unwanted fat and weight gain.

Testosterone plays a key role in the development of new muscle throughout life, which is why bodybuilders and people looking to get healthier and stronger try and optimize levels as much as possible.

Healthy levels of testosterone are deemed as being between 250-1100 ng/dL for men.

Effects of Increased Testosterone Levels

When men increase testosterone levels they can experience a lot of benefits to both their lifestyle and their gym performance.

Testosterone also plays a crucial part in regulating metabolism, and if you are over the age of 30 can help reduce the amount of stubborn belly fat you store.

If you’re testosterone levels increase, you’ll feel fresher and younger and find it easier to add extra muscle mass. Meaning you can make far more of your workouts.

Sleep has also been known to be affected by the amount of testosterone you have, so an increase can mean that both your rest and recovery improve.

The Relationship Between Exercise and Testosterone

Exercise and testosterone are very closely linked.  In fact, after you perform exercise your testosterone levels increase. This can last for 15 minutes or up to an hour.

If you have clinically low testosterone, this short spike may not have a huge effect. But most males with a low/normal level should get some benefits to both day to day energy levels and performance and results from the exercise.

Actually, performing exercise works to not just provide a short-term boost though, but if you manage to start to burn away that unwanted belly fat, your metabolism will increase and as such your bodyfat drop. This helps create an environment that is better to produce this key hormone.

In order to get the most from this though, exercise needs to be regular.

Which, for many may seem daunting. But, if you are exercising you should be looking at all the other long-term benefits and not just the potential for a slightly increased level of testosterone.

Best Exercises for Boosting Testosterone

There’s one go too muscle group you should be looking at when it comes to getting testosterone levels to rise through exercise; your legs.

As the biggest muscle group, training legs also provides a great stimulus to help you shed unwanted weight by maximizing energy expenditure.

Studies back up the fact that leg training both increases testosterone and growth hormone too.

A team of researchers at Lillehammer University made a group of males complete a bodybuilding style workout over an 11-week period.

They trained 2 days on solely left biceps and 2 days on both legs and right biceps.

What they found after the 11-week study was that the size and strength of the right bicep had increased more than the left.

They concluded that because of the extra testosterone and growth hormone released during the leg sessions, the right bicep got stronger and bigger. Pretty crazy.

Compound movements are the way to go to maximize the surge in hormones. This has been heavily researched in a few different ways and the bigger and more complex the movement, the better.

In order to maximize the release in testosterone and in growth hormone, it’s always best to start with multi joint compound movements when you work out. So, take these 3 big exercises and perform them first thing, before working on isolation exercises and smaller movements.

To take advantage of the testosterone boosting properties of leg training, it might be worth looking into splitting your leg training across two days in the week. Combining it with biceps on one of the days, and triceps on the other. As an example.

#1. Back/Front Squat

It’s hard to dispute the power of the squat when it comes to building sheer strength and a formidable set of wheels.

Because the squat also recruits such a big number of muscle groups, it’s also one of the best testosterone boosting exercises you can do.

Try and hit the 5-8 rep range on 75% of your 1RM. Go for 3 sets.

#2. Barbell Lunge

Another compound movement that can cause a major build-up of lactic acid (which causes an increase in growth hormone) as well as a nice boost of testosterone.

Barbell Lunges require core stability as well as recruiting all your leg muscles. Giving your male hormones as good kick into action.

#3. Bench Press

While it’s not legs, the bench press is another compound movement that gets your hormones firing.

If it’s chest day, then jump on the bench at the start of your workout. This means you’ll have that crucial spike in testosterone for the rest of the session.

Best Exercises to Boost Testosterone: Conclusion

So there you have it. When it comes to the exercises that boost testosterone there’s plenty of studies to back up the training of legs.

There’s also no question that the more complex/compound movements provide the biggest boost either, so always try and perform these at the start of your workout.

Does Testosterone Make You Taller?

Ever since he was a kid, Sam wished he had grown taller. At five feet two inches, he was always among the shortest in his class. He has had a healthy diet for much of his life. Sam also keeps up a regular exercise regimen. Despite doing so much right, he never saw the growth he had imagined for himself. As he closes his teenage years, he decides to ask his doctor if something is wrong. After his doctor ordered some blood work, Sam discovered that he suffered from low testosterone levels. His doctor said this may be why he has not experienced much increase in height. Sam wonders, “Does testosterone make you taller?” Therefore, his doctor recommends that Sam undergo hormone therapy and take a testosterone supplement.

After a few weeks of hormone therapy and taking a testosterone supplement, Sam is surprised to observe his muscles growing and other symptoms. To his complete surprise, he also thinks he might be getting taller.

Testosterone Overview

Testosterone is an important hormone for the development and functioning of the human body. Men and women both need testosterone, albeit in different amounts. There are many things that can contribute to low testosterone levels. These include diabetes, substance abuse, poor diet, chemotherapy for cancer, physical injury, mumps, and aging. Often, hormone therapy is used to treat the condition and mitigate its symptoms. Additionally, testosterone supplements are often used to further aid testosterone levels.

Testosterone plays a role in height, as it increases levels of growth hormone. This is especially true in adolescence. However, the more testosterone produced by the body, the sooner someone stops growing. This is due to testosterone’s role in the growth of bone plates, which halts the majority of bone growth. Testosterone, thus, serves a dual purpose in aiding and halting height increase.

Low testosterone can have serious negative impacts on overall health and well-being. It can cause sexual dysfunction, low libido, reduced bone mass, problems during puberty, and possibly increased risk of early death. These facts lead people with low testosterone to seek medical treatment. Testosterone supplements in conjunction with hormone therapy is a common choice.

While there are many benefits of raising testosterone levels, any treatments will be imperfect. Even those receiving treatments may not experience the levels they should have. Additionally, some uses for testosterone therapies need further study in clinical trials. One of these uses is attempting to increase height. Testosterone levels are only one factor in height and can only do so much. Other hormones, including estrogen, and a person’s genetics factor into how tall they will grow.

Does Testosterone Help With Growth?

It is unclear whether testosterone therapies or supplements used after puberty can make people taller. Testosterone supplements after puberty may increase height. While the growth may not be extreme, many people report noticing benefits.

During puberty and into the teenage years, the body’s testosterone levels peak. These levels decrease each year afterward. During adolescence is when bone plates have yet to fully grow. This means that testosterone therapies and supplements are most effective in pubescent years, before bone growth peaks.

Hormone therapy and testosterone supplements work best when combined with other factors. A healthy diet and regular exercise are part of the production of testosterone. The treatment of underlying conditions causing low testosterone is often another. As such, there is no quick fix to low testosterone levels. It is often a variety of choices that contribute to a solution. Height is also regulated in large part by genetics. No amount of testosterone will increase height past what a person’s genes allow. People should keep this in mind when setting out on testosterone therapies. While testosterone plays a role in height, it is not the sole factor.

If you are considering taking a testosterone supplement, it is important to consider the way you would like to take it. Testosterone supplements in the form of a skin patch are among the best methods of administration because they bypass the liver.

AgeForce supplies a line of testosterone patches designed to help you build muscle and more. If you think that you have a testosterone level issue and may need supplementation, speak to your doctor. They may have some advice on how to take testosterone supplements and what you can expect once you start to react. If you want to find out more about testosterone skin patch supplements, log on to AgeForce to find out more.

How Does Alcohol Affect Your Testosterone Levels?

How Does Alcohol Affect Your Testosterone Levels? If you’re suffering from low Testosterone levels, you may not have considered that alcohol could be playing a part in your demise, but high alcohol intake and low testosterone levels have a closer connection than most people realize.

Alcohol wreaks havoc with your hormones thanks to its effect on the endocrine system, and your t-levels are one of the first hormones to take a hit. That’s not such a problem if you’re a woman of course, but if you’re a man hoping to bulk up, it’s seriously bad news.

Why Does Testosterone Matter Anyway?

testosterone decline with ageIf you’ve spent any time trying to grow muscle, and struggled to get far, it’s likely your Testosterone levels aren’t what they ought to be. Testosterone is the male hormone which gives us men our deep voice, facial hair, sex drive, and increased muscle mass. In essence, Testosterone is what makes a man a man.

The thing is, as a man gets older, his Testosterone levels begin to fall. That’s exactly why as a 30 or 40-year-old you can no longer double your arm size in a month with a bit of extra lifting. Suddenly, you have to put a lot of work in to achieve a little muscle increase. It’s an almost inevitable part of aging that left to its own devices, the male body will begin to suffer from low Testosterone levels, and your muscle growth will suffer as a result.

This is bad enough in itself, but then so many men go and make matters worse than they already are without even realizing the error of their ways. Their poison? Alcohol.

Alcohol has become such a normal way of life for most people, they probably never even consider that it could be having a detrimental effect on their t-levels. Sadly, it really does.

Fat Levels Go Up, T-levels Go Down

When you drink to excess, your blood sugar levels spike, which leads to your pancreas pumping out a load of insulin – and the bad news is this just so happens to be the hormone responsible for fat storage. Couple this with the fact that you’re 10x more likely to reach for the most calorie-laden food you can find and you’ll realize that one huge problem you face when it comes to alcohol is the fact that your body effectively switches to ‘fat storage mode’ – and that’s terrible news for your t-levels.

Alcohol contains 7kcal per gram, and every single one of those calories is completely void of nutrients. You can visualize this by imagining how glutenous it would feel to drink a glass or 2 of single cream every night – that has a comparable amount of calories per gram. The only difference is, cream has nutrients – alcohol doesn’t. When you look at it like this, it’s easy to see how drinking excess amounts of alcohol on a daily basis can and will lead to excess fat gain.

Testosterone contained within fat is converted into the female hormone Estrogen. So effectively, someone carrying more fat than they should will end up with lower levels of Testosterone than they should have. The more fat you have, the bigger the problem. And the worst kind of fat you can store if you want high testosterone levels is belly fat. And guess what? With alcohol, that’s exactly where your new layers of fat will be heading.

Other Ways Alcohol Destroys Testosterone

Aside from promoting the growth of new excess fat stores, alcohol impacts the endocrine system, which is responsible for the production of various hormones which impact many areas of the body.

When metabolizing the ethanol in alcohol, your body tends to lower the amount of some coenzymes which are usually present in the liver and testes. One particular coenzyme which is affected is NAD+, which is absolutely essential for the production of Testosterone, so less of it means less Testosterone. To add to this, the endorphins which make you feel so relaxed when you drink alcohol also cause issues with Testosterone synthesis. It’s a double whammy of t-level damage.

Think that’s not harmful enough? Long term drinkers will begin to suffer from an increase in the female hormone, Estrogen. This is because alcohol actually causes some of your Testosterone to convert to Estrogen. That’s not good news if you value your thick beard. Plus, if you really don’t want man boobs, you really don’t want more estrogen floating around in your system. And of course, if you’re hoping to build muscle anytime soon, you’ll need your t-levels as high as possible to make that happen.

Just How Much Does Alcohol Really Affect T-levels?

It’s clear to see that alcohol really does have an impact on Testosterone levels, but just how much of an impact it has really does depend on the amount you drink. Basically, the more you drink, the worse the effects will be. And in chronic, long-term drinkers, that effect could be pretty severe. This is true even if you ‘only’ drink a bottle of wine a night. Make no mistake, this is not a healthy habit, and not only will your Testosterone levels begin to suffer if this becomes a daily routine, but the rest of your health will too.

Cutting Back For The Good of Your T-levels

In an ideal world, alcohol would never enter your body. At the end of the day, it’s a drug – albeit a widely accepted, recreational one. It’s terrible for your body in general and it should only ever be used in moderation.

In reality, we know that this doesn’t always happen. But if you value your testosterone levels and want to keep them high, you do need to control your intake as much as possible. Every sip is detrimental to your health, and your t-levels. Bear that in mind before you binge.

Why not swap your training routine around and spend what would otherwise be a boozy evening in the bar, in the gym instead? If you’re heading out with friends, why not test your willpower and stick to the soft drinks. Not only will you save money, you’ll be able to drive home too. However you do it, every alcohol-free evening is a step in the right direction towards increasing your t-levels and improving your health.

Effects of Masturbation on Testosterone: Does It Lower Your T?

The Effects of Masturbation on Testosterone: Does It Lower Your T?Healthy testosterone levels can energize you and boost your libido. It’s the number one hormone that men often crave for. Athletes use a small dosage to improve their performance, while others use it to help with various health issues or improve their sex life.

The great thing about testosterone is that there are many natural ways to boost your levels. Through a healthy diet and exercise, you can increase your testosterone levels to improve your libido. However, there is also a pleasurable way to boost your testosterone level, and that is masturbation.

Masturbating to the point of ejaculation can increase your testosterone levels. According to this article written by Doctor Climax,  masturbation does not affect levels of testosterone in the short term, however, excessive masturbation can reduce the bodies ability to produce testosterone.

The goal is to masturbate, but not too much to the point where your penis gets too sensitive. When the penis is constantly overstimulated, it can lose sensitivity and develop resistance. When that happens, your body will reduce the amount of testosterone levels. This means it’s important not to over do it. After all, it’s the right amount of masturbation that is beneficial for testosterone elevation.

Six Fast Facts About Masturbation and Testosterone

If you are curious about masturbation and testosterone, here are some facts to educate you.

#1. Benefits of Masturbation

Masturbation plays a major role in our lives. In fact, it’s potentially more beneficial and effective than an antidepressant. If you find yourself stressed, depressed, or irritated, masturbation can help alleviate your problem. It will elevate endorphin levels to relieve stress, increased pleasure, reduce sexual tension, lower blood pressure, relaxes you, improve your mood, get better sleep, improve sex life, and elevate your testosterone level.

#2. Benefits of Proper Testosterone Levels

It’s important to have an adequate amount of testosterone in your body. Testosterone is very beneficial because it increases your sex drive, helps you maintain an erection, provides adequate hair on your body, improved energy level, builds muscles, builds bones, and even elevates your mood. Proper testosterone levels also can contribute to a decrease in body fat, and help you sleep at night. This is only a partial list as well, for the benefits of proper testosterone levels are many.

#3. Masturbation and its Impact on Building Muscle

There are two ways that masturbation can help you build strong and lean muscles. First, when you masturbate, you release endorphins that can dilate blood vessels. This will promote blood flow to various areas in your body. When you exercise, more blood will pump through your dilated, elastic blood vessels. This will provide more nutrient and oxygen to promote muscle growth and development. In addition, masturbation can increase testosterone levels which can also assist in muscle building by synthesizing more protein for nourishment. Overall, self-satisfaction in moderation is a healthy activity to promote muscle building and testosterone levels.

#5. How Masturbation Elevates Testosterone

Whenever you masturbate, there are chemical signals that get sent up to your brain. The signals would bind to the receptors in the brain to stimulate the release of testosterone. Testosterone helps increase your libido and erection by promoting endorphin hormones to dilate the blood vessels to increase blood flow to the penile region. Once adequate testosterone has hit your system, you will experience an amazing climax. This is why masturbation or any stroking to the genital areas can have a significant increase in your testosterone levels.

#6. Why Masturbation in Moderation is Key

It’s important not to overdo it. Masturbating once daily is healthy, but spending over 5 hours in your room is not. If you notice that the skin on your penis is getting red, rough, and peeling, then that means it’s time to stop. Constant and obsessive masturbation is not healthy for you. The chemical signals that travel from your genital region to your brain could oversaturate the receptors. This will reduce the sensitivity of your penis, thus, you will develop tolerance. This means that you will have to masturbate longer and harder in order to obtain a weak climax. Not only that, constant masturbation can actually deplete your body of testosterone levels.

The Bottom Line

If you ever feel guilty about masturbating, it’s best not to. Because of all the potential health benefits, it doesn’t hurt to do it whenever you feel a built up. Sometimes, letting it build up can make you feel irritated, depressed, or at the minimum, may leave you with a messy bed in the morning. Masturbation in moderation can help reduce your blood pressure, increase your testosterone levels, reduce stress, decrease depression, reduce tension, and many other benefits.

How to Further Improve Your Sex Life if You Are Suffering from Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is commonly referred to as ED and can be thoroughly life changing for men who experience it. Sometimes, keeping an erection can be marred by illness, medications and even older age, and this is difficult for men who enjoy masturbation and sex with a partner or lover.

The great news is that the sex toy market industry has come to the aid of men who are seeking to get a little extra help to get their erection going and then keep it up too, so they can last longer and perform (if need be).

Penis Pumps & Cock Rings to the Rescue…

Although these toys won’t necessarily change any health issue in the long term, they can be exceptionally good at helping the man to 1. Get his erection to occur and 2. Maintain it by keeping the blood flow to the penis.

Penis pumps come in varying brands and are only to be used as instructed for the time allowed, and cock rings also afford the same criterion too. In fact, always read the instructions relating to your toy or tool of choice so that you might get the best (and safest) use possible, and also enjoy and maintain your erection for the longest time you can without sacrificing health.

Women & Men Enjoy ‘Tools of the Trade’

In the case of cock rings, both straight and gay partners love these. They look great on the male and offer pleasure for the partner too, with some having a vibrating or nubbed functionality to aid in pleasure, as well as securing the erection to last longer and (in many cases) feel harder than usual. There are many types of cock rings and some even come in sets. They range in colors and features and great brands will offer excellent materials, features and designs to choose from. The other wonderful thing about best-selling cock rings is that they’re small, discreet and exceptionally easy to use and clean. You can even spoil your partner with one as a cool gift to add to the arsenal of tools to enhance your fun in the bedroom, and most are fully waterproof, so you can maintain your play in wet areas or in the shower or tub too! All in all, this toy is a great one for ED sufferers, and to get a longer-lasting (possibly harder) erection during your adventure or edging session, and these really are the best ‘tools of the trade.’

The Positive Benefits of Testosterone Replacement Therapy

trt replacementTRT can offer critical physical and mental advantages, especially if you are experiencing side effects of low testosterone. Some key positive benefits of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) may include:

  • Improved Mood
  • Improved Libido
  • Improved Well-Being
  • Improved Cognition
  • Improved Gym Performance
  • Improved Fitness Recovery
  • Increased Muscle Mass
  • Increased Bone Density
  • Increased Red Blood Cell Production
  • Reduced Fatigue
  • Reduced Irritability
  • Repressed Depressive Symptoms

I for one feel that the psychological advantages of TRT are similarly as vital if not a higher priority than the physical advantages you will get. This is particularly valid on the off chance that you experience the ill effects of nervousness and depression. The way that TRT can help mitigate and even “fix” these issues makes testosterone an astounding medication.

That said, one thing to note is that these aforementioned advantages don’t simply occur overnight or come without any risk. While some definitely come faster than others, most are experienced after a few months worth of treatment.

However, longer treatment may be necessary so be sure to address your questions and concerns with your doctor. Your doctor will also go over the potential risks of treatment with you so you can make a more informed decision on whether or not TRT is for you.

Is TRT Alone the Magic Bullet to Improved Physical and Mental Health?

Testosterone replacement therapy alone is a very effective treatment for a number of mental and physical issues, but it should be noted that going on TRT is a way of life change. Meaning, you should pair TRT with proper lifestyle changes including a regular exercise routine and healthy dietary habits.

Concentrate on eating a solid regimen of healthy foods including fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins, and being all the more physically dynamic by regularly hitting up that gym, running, or taking up sports. The key here is to adapt your lifestyle to your therapy goals, and since your goals are an improvement in health, start there!

When you consolidate TRT with a solid eating regimen and reliable exercise routine, the outcomes are considerably more significant than simply taking testosterone alone.

How Much Does Testosterone Replacement Therapy Cost?

The cost of TRT depends upon a number of variables. My specialist makes them infuse testosterone since that can be controlled precisely and is more affordable. The 10ml vial of 200mg/ml testosterone Cypionate costs between about $65 and $135 relying on accessibility amid the year at the roidsstore I go to, however, the cost will be likely different at other stores.

In my experience, the syringes and needles only cost around 50 pennies for every 7-multi-day infusion. I utilize an 18 check needle for illustration the infusion and a 24 measure for infusing it as it is thick oil. Every vial at present keeps going me 3 months and a couple of days, pretty much, contingent on correct portion. The different creams and gels are progressively costly and create less correct outcomes.

I must be watchful in light of the fact that a lot of can cause issues and too little isn’t viable. My specialist tests me every 3 months. My circumstance is more unpredictable than numerous as I have a lot of different things that all need to offset out with the testosterone. I’ve been on TRT for 15+ years.

In conclusion, the cost of TRT can vary quite a bit, but you will generally be looking at between $50 and $150 per month for ongoing therapy. Keep in mind that this cost will depend on your insurance prescription coverage as well as which drugs are required for your unique treatment. Other factors may also come into play as well. Check with your primary doctor and/or console a specialist in TRT to get a more accurate picture of the cost for you.

The Bottom Line

TRT is a valid treatment option for a number of physical and mental health related issues, however, testosterone replacement therapy isn’t a magic bullet to improved health and wellness. TRT also comes with potential risks and side effects. Also, TRT works best when paired with healthy physical and dietary lifestyle changes. All in all, though, TRT may just be what you need to improve your health, so be sure to consult with your doctor or a TRT specialist for more details.

Natural Testosterone Boosting Supplements

Natural Testosterone Boosting Supplements

Healthy testosterone levels are crucial when it comes to the male body and for living a fulfilling lifestyle. While the body naturally produces this hormone throughout your lifespan, testosterone production will slowly begin to decrease around your late twenties. This means you may want or even need something to pick your hormone levels back up as you age.

Welcome to the World of Natural Testosterone Supplements

Natural testosterone supplements are designed to assist your body alongside a properly planned exercise and nutrition plan. Of course, you should never rely solely on a supplement for results, or use a supplement to treat a medical condition, but this does not necessarily mean you should avoid them either for they may just work for you.

Let’s start out by taking a look at some potential benefits of supplementing with natural testosterone supplements. After that, let’s explore popular natural testosterone supplement ingredients so that you can better choose one to fit your needs.

Natural Testosterone Boosters May Help Boost Your:

  • Energy Levels
  • Strength and Endurance
  • Lean Muscle Growth
  • Libido
  • Overall Well-being

And because natural testosterone supplements are formulated from natural ingredients, there should be little to no side effects, unlike their synthetic testosterone-boosting counterparts. Although natural testosterone supplements might not be as fast-acting or as effective as synthetic testosterone options, long-term use of synthetic testosterone may actually be harmful to your body. For this reason alone, giving natural testosterone boosting supplements a try may be in your best interest. If your doctor diagnoses you with low testosterone levels, you may want to discuss a treatment plan and inform him/her that you want to try the natural route.

OK, so now that you know some of the potential benefits of natural testosterone boosting supplements, let’s take a look at some popular natural ingredients used to make them, and discuss why these ingredients may help boost your testosterone levels. Many quality testosterone boosters will likely contain many and possibly even all the ingredients I’m going to cover here. You can also use this list as a guide when shopping around.

Popular Ingredients Used in Natural Testosterone Boosters/Supplements

D-Aspartic Acid

D-Aspartic Acid testosterone supplementAlso known simply as DAA, this ingredient is becoming quite popular amongst the fitness community. Something that is rather safe and with little side effects will always be favored over prohormones when it comes to building lean muscles and shredding fat. Aspartic acid is known as an amino acid, and contains an important acidic side chain, which is placed into the category of non-essential amino acids. Your body will naturally produce this, but not in significant amounts to truly benefit from.

You need to consume nutrients to increase the low quantities of D-aspartic acid, and an easy way to meet your goals is through natural testosterone boosters alongside good eating. The University of Naples Italy performed a study against rats with the use of D-aspartic acid, and the end results showed that a 40% increase in free testosterone is possible with consumption of 3.12g of DAA a day, which is taken for 12 consecutive days (1). This is a major advancement in the natural growth of muscles and increased energy levels from basic supplementation.

Mucuna Pruriens

This is a natural ingredient placed in the legume family that contains important nutrients for you such as L-dopa, beta-carboline, and magnesium. A study showed that infertile men using this ingredient received significant increases in testosterone levels after consumption of 5g daily for up to 3 months, but fertile men seemed to not have the same benefits (2). However, the study on rats concluded that taking 200mg/kg for your bodyweight increased testosterone.

Smaller doses of 15-30mg per day have shown to pose little to no side effects, but larger intakes of mucuna pruriens could cause rare cases of medical conditions such as slower motor skills.

Vitamin D

Yes, the vitamin naturally given to us by sunlight exposure actually plays a significant role in building muscle due to it assisting with testosterone production. Science agrees that this micronutrient allows you the possible effects of increased strength, sex drive, and might even help fight cancer. People are often times deficient in vitamin D these days since most are consuming unhealthy foods and receiving little sunlight exposure.

This fat soluble nutrient is essential for you to even live, and studies prove that vitamin D3 (known to be the most absorbent) increases free and bioactive testosterone levels naturally. The double blind study involved 165 men that consumed 3,332 IU (international unit) daily, which at the end of the test showed a 30% increase in the testosterone levels discussed. Vitamin D3 is one of the only nutrients to constantly undergo this type of clinical study, and so far there is no opposing theory to its benefits of naturally increasing your testosterone levels.

Nettle Root Extract

Extracts from stinging nettle root also increase your testosterone levels by assisting in a different process that takes place. Low testosterone levels could derive from increased development of estrogen levels, which hinder the production of testosterone since it is taking its place. Nettle root extract used in a study showed that it could interfere with the SHBG associating with estrogen production (3), thus allowing your testosterone levels to naturally increase. This is a nice ingredient that is added to numerous supplements for natural benefits.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is an herb often found in the Arabic region of the world, and has been used for natural masculine remedies for hundreds of years. You may also see this ingredient labeled as fenugreek seeds, which can also be eaten if you wish to go an even more natural approach to testosterone boosting, and fenugreek is also used for assisting with regulating blood sugar levels. Clinical studies took 30 male volunteers and had them supplement with fenugreek for 6 months at a 500mg daily dosing. The study showed effective increases in free and serum testosterone levels. The perfect herb used in the bodybuilding world, but with little recognition.

The Bottom Line

prime male testosterone boosterYou need to keep your testosterone levels in check as you age if you wish to increase your strength and muscle gains as well as maintain you energy levels and a positive mood.

The ingredients listed above can simply be taken as single supplements to provide specific benefits, however, there are natural testosterone-boosting supplements, such as Prime Male, which contain all of these healthy ingredients in one supplement. However, if you want a supplement with just one of these ingredients primarily used, then D-Aspartic Acid is a great starting point.

On the other hand, as mentioned above, never rely solely on a supplement or expect them to perform miracles. However, use them to your advantage while following a well-designed training regimen and nutrition plan. Remember, exercise and nutrition is even more critical as you age and no supplement will ever be a replacement for a healthy lifestyle.

It is also worth noting that there is no guarantee all or even some of the ingredients will work with you since every person’s body is different, but it does not hurt to try different ones for you may find one that works for your unique body.

Remember, all the information provided here is not to be used in place of medical care. Consult your physician, dietitian, or nutritionist before beginning any supplement regime. We also did not cover recommended dosage for individual supplement brands, so be sure to read labels and always consult a medical professional if you are in doubt.

TestoGen Natural Testosterone Supplement Review

testogen reviewSo you’re probably here because you’ve heard about this supplement called TestoGen, and you would like to learn more about it and see how it can help you to build some lean muscle mass, decrease body fat, boost your fertility, sense of well-being, motivation and essentially make you more of a man.

How it all started

Let me tell you a little bit about myself first.

My name is Steve and three years ago I was 36 and I hadn’t done any form of exercise or weight training since my teenage years. I weighed 250lbs. I was fat, I was weak and I was unhealthy.

It was that time in my life when my ex-wife left me.

Around 6 months later, I discovered that she had been cheating on me with a man 5 years my younger.

It didn’t occur to me at the time, but I realise now that the reason she left me was because the sexual hunger was no longer there. We hadn’t engaged in intercourse for almost a year, simply because I no longer had the drive. I was no longer enough of a man to please my her sexually.

To get over the emotional trauma of her leaving me, I began a weight training regime and I bought all the supplements I could find – natural testosterone boosters, whey protein and amino acids.

My body composition and my mental state certainly improved for the better, and I slowly started getting my drive back and feeling more like a man. But my progress was slow. And by slow I mean, V….E…R…Y S…L…O…W.

I was still in awe of guys who had that jacked physique , and who somehow gave off the aura that they were gods in the bedroom, especially middle-aged guys like the man below.

Looking like the guy above is no easy feat, I know. And what made things worse is when I would see middle-aged celebrities like Hugh Jackson, Vin Diesel and Jason Statham looking as strong and manly as ever, despite being almost 10 years older than me.

And I’d think to myself “What the?! I’m barely seeing results and getting my sex drive back after training for 1 year in my thirties and these guys are looking like that in their late forties!?”

I mean not all of us have the time to make sure every aspect of our lives and our manlihood are in order.

Finding time every day to sit down and go through our checklist:

  • Gym/sports workout ✔
  • Taken supplements for the day ✔
  • Meditated to relieve stress ✔
  • Received a sports massage for recovery ✔
  • Slept at least 8 hours ✔

All of that, plus our hobbies and our other work and social commitments?!

It’s hard enough finding time in the day just to train!

THE RESULT: We give up, and we accept that the drop in libido, strength and mood is just a natural part of the aging process.

About two and a half years ago I started experimenting with natural testosterone boosters.

I did notice some subtle improvements, but at the time I felt that it wasn’t worth the money.

So I kept on training, but I still wasn’t getting the physique that I had yearned so much for. To be honest I wasn’t a huge fan of testosterone boosters, not until I found this.

For me, this has been the difference between a good ordinary physique, and a physique that turns heads with the confidence and sex drive of a Greek God to go with it.

My Personal Experience with TestoGen

Just over a year ago I bumped into my second cousin while grocery shopping. He’s in his mid-forties, and previously he was really skinny. Now he looked by far the strongest looking guy in the store. I’d been training for two and a half years and here there was an Adonis standing next to me!

We started chatting a bit more about life, and reminiscing on old times together, and then I could no longer hold in my curiosity any more .

“Jake, how long have you been training for?” I asked

“Oh about a year now” he responded

Then I just had to ask him: “What?! What’s your secret? How did you get looking so good?”

He smiled to himself, and then said “I’ll tell you what. I’ve been trying a new product which not many people know about. It’s a natural testosterone booster and safe steroid alternative that has worked wonders for me, in the gym, in the bedroom and for my state of mind.”

He said the supplement was called TestoGen, and it contained natural ingredients to boost testosterone levels naturally.

That same evening I ordered my first container of TestoGen, and started taking it three days later.

Wow, was I in for a surprise…

In less than 4 weeks, I was already seeing increases to the 6-rep maxes of my core lifts, and had already started gaining more muscle across the chest and shoulder region.

Not only that, but my mood was better than ever and I turned into a machine in bed – I had been with my new girlfriend for almost a year and my my sex drive became something what I’d imagine would be similar to Tiger Woods.

I continued to use it, and I became totally hooked!

My strength and endurance increased like no other supplement I’d ever tried before.

So I figure instead of keeping it to myself, I’ll help you all out by letting you on my secret. I wish I’d known about this product 5 years ago when I was still with my ex-wife, but at least I do now. And I’d hate for you all to miss out.
